With restaurants and fast food chains on every corner, places like this don't stay in business if they are aren't good. After driving past for years, we finally got around to trying their food and we will be coming back.

Everyone loves down home cooking and a few restaurant chains have made home style cooking their mantra. What is more commonplace is small, independent restaurants that emphasize home cooking/comfort food and one of them is Baccailis Café in the Houston suburb of Katy.

The breakfast are very good!
The biscuits are very good!
Eggs, waffles and pancakes are large and great!

It's OKAY. I went here with my boyfriend the other morning for breakfast. They had 7 or 8 tables and only the one woman was working. It seemed as if she was the owner. She was really nice but I could tell she was in the weeds. Later in our meal another guy dressed in jeans and a shirt asked if I wanted more coffee,I had no idea he worked there. The food was okay but lacks some serious flavor....
