What the community has to say about Azuma on the Lake

Information about this business (2)

Azuma on the Lake serves great Japanese food. The sushi here is excellent, with some really innovative rolls. But the food is not the only reason why you should be dining here. The restaurant is located by the river and offers a gorgeous view. The Calamari, Ebi Tempura and the Smoked Salmon/kunsei Sake go perfectly well with that beautiful view!

The newest addition to The Azuma Group, Azuma on the Lake is proud to offer delicious traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine in one of Sugar Land's most picturesque settings. The views from the 2nd floor dining area and patio overlooking the lake provide a Zen-like backdrop and help establish Azuma on the Lake as the perfect destination for those seeking the finest sushi experience...

The Sunday happy hour is one of the best in town. It goes until 10:00 p.m. and there is nothing on the menu that would run you more than $6, not even the food. In addition, this location has an amazing patio overlooking the lake which gives this spot a few bonus points.

Great service, great food. The salmon sashimi is first class, as is the sashimi salad. There were four of us and we couldn’t complain! Worth the drive from Houston?

Our family has come to Azuma for years and has come to expect high quality sushi and small plates at an affordable price. We love the rolls and sashimi. Hot Sake is also a fave.
