This apartment complex has amenities (pool, washer/dryer, etc...) that you would need as a college student. The only problem is the limited parking spaces for residents and visitors.

This building is perfect if you are looking for a short commute to UTSA. It is less than a 5 min walk to campus, and if that just doesn't seem short enough, there is also a shuttle that stops at the building to dive you to campus. Fairly priced. Short distance to campus. Amenities are so-so. Gym is hardly functional with half the machines broken at any given time. Pool and hottub are nice. Furniture is pretty nice. Upon move-in my apartment was extremely dirty because they don't do a good job at cleaning and sometimes they won't clean at all between tenants.

omg best place I've ever been too, visited my friend there and never had I ever seen such a nice pool and work out center. If I had the money I'd live there but oh well, definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!

As a freshmen, I opted to live off campus because it's cheaper and, although the dorms are nice, I felt like I would get more for my money if I lived off campus. Initially, I chose Avalon because the model room they showed to my parents and I was very nice. I will admit that everything inside the apartment is very nice, even though most of the things are cheap. There's a big walk in closet, individual rooms and bathrooms, and a pretty nice kitchen. You also have your own washer and dryer. If you do move here, I recommend living with someone you know or are friends with because their system...
