This place is in serious danger of losing it's license. The type of patients they take require nursing home care. They have too little staff for seriously ill people. They are overcrowded and understaffed. Forget about the dignity of your parent. There are lies and coverups as well. Ask your doctor about alternatives to this place.
This facility cares for my father with alzheimers. They are always courteous and care for all of the residents equally. There probably are less expensive places, but for the high quality of the care, I would not move my father to any other location.
It is a difficult job caring for these people everyday and it often shows. They can get rough with the residents and the cleanliness varies form moderate to poor every time I visit. Dad's clothes are frequently dirty and the "activities" may or may not be stimulating.
