WHY

My first question is
Why are you borrowing money from them?
My guess is you already have bad  credit so that is the only place you can get a loan.
2nd dont be late on your payments and you wont have to worry.
No scam or ripoff here, another someone who was not keeping their promise by making the payments on time and was threatend to have their car repossed.

Do not ever borrow money from autopawn of california. They are loan sharks who will take your car in a minute. They are just waiting for their prey to miss a step. I borrowed $2,500 on a $20,000 auto. I missed one payment and they sent gangsters to my place of unemployment to intimidate me.
