I've only been to Aura twice and I had a great time both times I went. Granted it is far if you are coming from San Jose but it's nice to get out of San Jose and visit a different club. I have been here 3 times and had a great time every time! The music is great! They usually have a different DJ on each dance floor, so if aren't enjoying one type of music, heard to the other dance floor! The people there are typically attractive people. This place is a bridge and tunnel caricature. It is amazing how much clubs change once you get 45 minutes outside of San Francisco. This is the same type of cookie cutter club you might find in Oklahoma. First of all, no joke, this place is in a strip mall - with an Applebees, furniture store etc. next door. All the guys have crew cuts and wear the same striped shirts right from the Macys sales...

Went there last weekend. The bouncers are really rude. The bartenders are rude. Nothing special about this place. I predict it will close in the next few months...most people I spoke to there, won't go back...Don't worth your money or time...find some thing better...

Aura is a nightclub mecca in the Pleasanton scene. The club is comprised of two main rooms, The Red Room and The Blue Room. The Red Room has the VIP area, but both rooms offer bottle service. Dress code is strictly enforced.
