I went here for a christmas concert and was amazed how beautiful it is. This is a must to visit if you have time in Rochester.

A lovely peaceful place to enjoy the views. The place itself is beautiful - modeled after the original Assisi in Italy and overlooking the city. The construction and artisanship that created it are spectacular.

Assisi Heights is the congregational center of the Rochester Franciscans. Guided tours are available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Reservations are necessary. There is no minimum number for tours. Donations are welcome.

One hour tours are available at this Italian Romanesque structure that is the home of the Sisters of Saint Francis and the Assisi Community Centre. the building features include an ornate lobby with a slate floor, a Romanesque ceiling, and hand blown stained glass windows from Germany. Tours are available every Monday and Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
