This credit union is slowly going into the gutter with most common banks. Theyve been good to me for 6 years now up until recently where im all of a sudden getting 2 different security charges every month with NO NOTICE! 6 years and never once was i charged. now i am! and now when i dont have the funds for them to take, they charge me an overdraft fee. Do not bank with Arizona Federal Credit Union. First off the Cu online bill-pay sucks it doesn't agree with other financial institutions. They have the worst over the phone support ever and love to hit you with late fees like crazy. I strongly suggest not banking with AFCU.

AZFCU has changed. I've been with them for 13 years and I'm looking for a new CU. The latest is they are signing every customer up for some insurance program with automatic payment from your checking and the customer has to actively opt out to cancel the service! And the opt-out URL is the insurance company site, not the CU's site. They've hassled me about cashing in rolled coin, and after...

I too have been banking with AZFCU since 1992 and my main complaint is that their version of the west side stops at 59th ave. They closed all of the branches west of that. Doesn't work for me. I'm looking for a new bank.
