This establishment is out of business as of beginning of November. Suggest 3rd & Main as a nearby alternative that offers similar, and IMHO better food. I just want you to know before you drive to eat here and find it shuttered..

We went to Applewood by the River on October 14th. We were staying at the casino and the steakhouse at the casino was closed on Mondays.
We traveled into town instead of the casnio buffet. Glad we did.

I find the food and atmosphere to be very good and it outweighs the slow service. I typically only go during the warmer months when we can be seated outside so maybe service is different inside. It usually takes a while for server to show up at table, then drinks take a while and then food takes a while. But...
