Applebee's Neighborhood Grill

Not going back. I had a really disappointing experience last time I went. My daughter and I got the 2 for 20 dollars at the newport store. Both the steak and the ribs were pure gristle. And we arrived at an off hour --about 3 pm. Our meal took nearly an hour. For all american I would rather go to dicks.

I liked it.. but what was with all the water on my plate. We ate there a few days ago, now the service was good, the food was good.. but for some reason there was a lot water on my plate. I think they forgot to drain the veggies or something. But over all the meal was good.

I love their Chinese Chicken Salad, but went here for my birthday and was disappointed. I ordered the house sirloin which I had tried at the Applebee's in Manteca, CA and it was not very good. Not at all tender and only about a half an inch thick. Also very noisy and cramped for my husband in a motorized wheelchair. Possibly we'll try again some day.
