Quick lunch stop - OK food and service

At lunch time we were seated within a couple of minutes and the server came over quickly. Our order came to our table in a reasonable time frame and the food taste just like many other Applebees. Don't know about dinners but on this day, service and food were OK.

We stopped in after the movie for dinner and that was a mistake! I ordered a NY Steak, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Veggies! Three items! I told the waitress I wanted the steak medium rare and I wanted the potatoes and veggies hot! The potatoes and veggies were served hot, but the cook obviously put the plate with the steak...

We've been going to this Applebee's for several years, but go less often now. The music volume is SO loud we have to shout across the table to have a conversation!! We've been told by 2 employees that "Corporate determines the volume; we can't do anything about it". What a lousy attitude. We don't dine there to be blasted by...

consistantly good restaurant

Everything we've ever had in this restaurant is good. The selection both of pre-meal snacks and the regular menu is varied and delicious. The service is excellent--this last time we sat at the bar and were taken care of by the very pleasant bartender.

We have been eating here 3-4 times per month for the last few years. We have been disappointed the last couple times with the cold food, unfriendly service and how long it took. We won't be going back.
