Help us make it rightI was referred to Appalachian Energy by a colleague and I couldn't be more satisfied with the customer service and the quality of work that they provided. They installed a complete mini-split system in my home. Through no fault of theirs my HVAC equipment was delivered to their warehouse damaged and my job was consequently delayed. However, the folks at Appalachian bent over backwards to make up for this situation that was not even their fault. They are very pleasant and professional and ultimately left us feeling as though we got a great value for what we paid. I would definitely use them again.

had Appalachian Energy Solutions work on my central air conditioning. I needed new flex duct put in since the other stuff I had was old and nasty (fiberglass). They show up, Steve and his brother in-law, forgot his name. They bang out the job, all looks "pretty" in the attic. I turn the air on and the pressure is so low I can't feel the air coming out of the vents, mind you prior, the air pressure was fine. I consulted another HVAC company and they stated that App. Air BUTCHERED the "run" from the handler, it is HVAC 101 not to do what they did. They made swiss cheese of the run and put a vent at the end of it. That is why I had no STATIC Pressure, yes I am learning, but it cost me a thousand bucks. I called them and told them of my problem, they stated they would give me half back, $500.00 and they would fire the brother-in-law. Steve the owner even offered to drive the check over and hand it to me personally. I told him to just drop it in the mail and not waste gas driving over. Well at this point, eight weeks later, check is in the mail and they are not returning my phone calls. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE THE SAME COMPANY AS Appalachian Air Conditioning and Heating Company in Frankford. I will email you their business card to prove they are one in the same. [email protected] is my e-mail address. Do not be fooled by their great prices, they under cut other companies to get into your home. Pay the higher price and keep these criminals out of your home.
