This place is your run of the mill pizza joint with sub par food. If you're in the area I'd recommend Antonios in Ansonia, Same price but the food and service are much better. Apollos isn't bad if you stumble out of the dew drop inn after a long night of drinking ....

The pizza at Apollo is very, very good. If you are looking for an extremely thin, Napilitano slightly burnt on the bottom New Haven type pizza (which I love, love love as well !!!) this is not it. If you are looking for a greek style pizza, with an amazingly light and airy crust, a great cheese and tomato sauce flavor, then this is a pizza you really should try.
