The atmosphere was wonderful and the popovers are to die for! But i ordered CHICKEN STIR FRY and paid 10$ for a bowl of rice and very few veggies and less chicken. My friend had walleye which was very tasty but deep fried and the rice that came with it was terrible RICE A RONI would have been more flavorful....

We sat by the window seats.
Good sunshine and view of the garden!
The interior is also interesting and nice place!!
The food looks and tasts REALLY GOOD!!!!
WE LOVE IT!! :)))

Quaint, historic log cabin restaurant that is on the Sauk River. Eat upstairs in the screened-in deck that overlooks the river or eat inside by the large, wooden bar. The downstairs area has a large portion of the original log cabin and is filled with interesting things. Had the potato-encrusted halibut, which was excellent! All meals come with huge Popovers...

The day after 4th of July we joined relatives from out of town at Antons. The wait staff was cordial, but not very good. They were out of Bar B que ribs, so i had select an alterative, their famous popovers were doughy and solid for least half our party. When I asked for a knife, i never received it...

We had not dined at Anton's for a few but decided to go for our Anniversary Dinner. The first thing we noticed was the musty, damp smell on the main level. Ate on the porch on th2 second level..Very dirty floors and dead bugs on the glass. Very short staffed..1 bartend who wer how was also the waiter and server....
