Trip advisors has incorrect info it is opened on Saturday, extremely friendly staff, great waiter, family had burrito, tamales, pancakes, all good and had home cooked goodness!

My daughters and I were wandering around Denver looking for a place to have lunch when we happened upon Annie's Cafe. What a find! We were hoping for a little bit better than what we got. The Bison burger was good as were the onion rings, home-cut fries and Oreo shake. The burger was about average as was the sloppy Joe that seemed to mess with my stomach later. For those with Gluten Free/diary issues they will work with you up to a point....

Off-gassing shellac over powered the food

When this place was being designed to replace the old diner that it once was, someone decided that having the entire interior done in varnished hard wood would be a great look. Okay, it looks good, but they coated it all in heavy shellac and never opened a door or window since. Just entering this place you will be knocked...

Annie’s Café is a popular breakfast and lunch spot for locals and the hospital crowd. It's a small, comfortable diner decorated in the classic retro diner fashion. Breakfast and sandwiches rollout providing generous portions and fast service. Oldies tunes play overhead and the crowd is always bustling. Beware of the weekends — long lines stream out the door.
