Help us make it rightI took a bridesmaids dress there recently. The door was open, and only the screen was shut. Unaware of how to proceed, I tried opening the door, only to be greeted by a "you should have rang the doorbell." (The sign saying that was not visible at the time.)She was abrupt and rude to me, and neglected to inform me that I'd need to leave a deposit with her. She then said, "You know, I'm going to be charging you $100.00, right? 65 for the hem, and 25 to take it in." Last time I checked, 65+25 was not 100. I needed 3/4 of an inch off the bottom, and only 1 inch taken in at the bust. This was NOT a $100.00 job. After I told her that I would need to talk it over with my husband (since I'd already spent $230 on the dress), she shoved the dress, plastic wrap, and hanger back in my arms... not even bothering to put it back nicely on the hanger. I would not recommend this seamstress to anyone. Also, the house smelled like there was a natural gas leak.
Took my wedding dress to her, did a great job the the top, BUT THE HEM WAS A MESS SHE RUINED MY DRESS!!!!!! She sewed through beading and the hem was bulged and CROOKED!! Also took the dress straight to her from the dress shop so i was in pristine CLEAN condition and she gave it back with MULTIPLE STAINS!!!! Went back and she would not give me a refund and refused to pay the 300 dollar repair bill for cleaning and to fix the hem. NEVER AGAIN will I trust this woman even with a part of old jeans! If you'd like a perfect wedding dress DO NOT TAKE IT HERE!
