Ann Sather Restaurant Review

This Scandinavian diner remains one of the most popular weekend breakfast spots in town. Aside from straightforward eggs and omelets, stars include feather-light Swedish pancakes with Swedish meatballs, thick-cut french toast with peach compote, and various egg Benedicts, from classic with maple-spiked ham to steak, poached salmon and crab cake versions. Icing-laced cinnamon rolls are the...

Always packed for Sunday brunch! I had the cinnamon rolls and potatoes (called hash browns but not what I had expected...) alongside a wrap. All of it was great. Definitely cramped and has a wait time on Sundays around noon but worth the wait

Ann Sather can cook up some old school homemade southern cooking as well as northern.   They are known for the cobbler , sticky buns, scones, and all that's a bakery type dish. Waffles and pancakes. get you a nice piece of something good and coffee. Ann Sather you made me a believer. Charles Inglis would eat here and so would these ballbatnuts!

The cinnamon rolls at all Ann Sather locations are wonderful. The rest of the food is mediocre and, if you're on a budget, not worth the price for the quality. My suggestion, if you live near an Ann Sather: buy a couple cinnamon rolls straight from the cash register, brew some coffee, and sit at home with friends or a book to enjoy. Saves you a lot of dough and the gives you all the...

Less than impressed. The cinnamon rolls were incredible, as expected, however the rest of the meal was mediocre at best. I tried the imitation crab cakes Benedict and had to send it back. The eggs were not cooked to order and the cakes had such a strong onion taste that it completely overpowered any crab taste. I replaced my entree with two sausage patties that looked as though they came from a...

Okay, I love Ann Sather. I'm in love with the pecan rolls and the cinnamon rolls and the crab cakes and the salmon. The atmosphere at this location is more Swedish inspired as opposed to the one on Broadway which I really like, I like going to unique looking places. Definitely Instagram worthy. The service …

Homestyle, Breakfast: Ann Sather's offers Swedish and American breakfast favorites, including unrivaled cinnamon rolls that people speak of with solemn reverence. The Swedish pancakes are thin and full of flavorful lingonberries. Every meal comes with a soup or two side dishes. It gets quite crowded at breakfast, particularly on weekends. If possible, get a seat in the front room, which has...

This is scaled down version of Ann Sather's other restaurants - but the Swedish pancakes and cinnamon rolls are still excellent. Sidewalk cafe during warm months. -
