They welcome you with bread that is amazing. We found out why later. They bake each loaf in the stone oven just before they serve it to you (see photo on their web page). We are hummus snobs. You won't find better than at Ankara. Cool, windy day and we ordered Turkish tea and it was served in traditional glasses...

Good Food, Good Service

We had a late dinner here and were well served despite choosing to sit outside during the (brief) warm spell in February. The lamb and fish dishes were very good, and the wine well chosen by our waiter. We will return.

Excellent food and attentive wait staff

There were 3 children and 8 adults in our party. Several of us were not familiar with the varieties of food. The wait staff helped us make choices especially appropriate for the children. All in all, it was an excellent experience.

We had a very good dinner- two of the cold appetizers - Turkish tabouleh and a yogurt dish and a chicken kabob and a beef dumpling dish, all delicious. Having only eaten doner kebab at fast food type places, I cannot say if this is authentic Turkish (but since the family that owns and runs the place is Turkish my guess is yes), but I can say that we all enjoyed our dinners.
