Unfortunately, the 'new' Angela's is worse than the 'old' Angela's. Recently, the 'old' restaurant was remodeled into a bad imitation of Qdoba. The 'new' restaurant is basically a half-assed cafeteria with Tex-Mex ingredients. Expect to pay $10 or more for food that is less quality than a gas station microwave burrito. We had hoped the 'renovations' to Angela's would prove to be exciting. We were wrong. Basically the food has become third tier fast food quality. The menu has been slashed down to about 1/3 of what it was, (and most of that is currently unavailable.) and worst of all you order your food, (watch the cooks make it) then move...

Pleasant place for Mexican food

This café is popular with the locals, especially for lunch. Located downtown, with street side parking, this is a nice take on Mexican food, which is tasty but perhaps on the mild side. Service is small-town friendly and efficient. We noticed that the alcoholic drinks consumed by some patrons looked particularly tasty. Bottom line: this sure beats the fast food...

Angela's has had a strong following among locals for over a decade. The exact reason why is unclear. The food is bland and at best, can be characterized as run of the mill TexMex. Prices are average. Portions large. Location excellent.
