What made this restaurant excellent for me was not just the food but Randy our Maitre' D. We have traveled a lot and have been in many great restaurants but he must be one of the best in the restaurant business. He was so cordial and attentive. I felt that I was in the finest restaurant in Germany because of his manner and his know-how! Thank you Randy!

German fare is plentiful and hearty at Andrea's Homestead Cafe. The owner, Andrea Liermann, comes from a family of Bavarian restaurateurs. Hospitality runs in her blood. She's liable to greet you in person when you walk through the door, and her friendly, energetic style has a lot do with why her restaurant has celebrated more than 30 years in business.

Those Lyons residents sure do like their Schnitzels, and Andrea's offers three different varieties. You'll have a much easier time finding brats and spatzle in this town than Big Macs, and we're not saying that's a bad thing. German culture isn't so terrible - sure they had a few dark years back in the day, but even that resulted in something positive. Of course I'm referring to kitlers...
