I had the prime rib sandwich with provolone, mushrooms and onion. Aujus on the side. The beer batter fries were great. Momma had soup/salad and it was OK.

Great food with a beautiful view

The fried walleye sandwich was delicious. The service was down home with a lot of personality. Great little bar with quite a few beers on draft and a full liquor bar. The view alone was worth the trip. The restaurant/bar sits right on a lake. When you look out the windows all you see is the lake on three sides....

The food is very good with great service. Very scenic views winter or summer. In the winter a great snowmobile destination and in the summer a great place on a lake with scenic views and nice interior. Acceptable. We ate at the Anchorage on a Sunday night. In a nutshell, average food with below average service. The dining room has a nice view of the lake, but the decor was very basic, including the naugahyde stacking chairs. I ordered the beer steamed Shrimp and BBQ Ribs with steamed veg.
