I am very picky when it comes to sushi, and the freshness and chef preparation at Anaba is the best I have had in VC. Reasonable prices for the quality/portion size. Sit at the sushi bar and find out what the chef's recommend. You can't go wrong as they always recommend the best they have.

I went here one night because the next-door Fisherman's Catch was closed. I had been here once before, but came away disappointed. This time was much better. I had three sushi-type appetizers, plus a draft Japanese beer. The food was very good, the service was fine, and the price was reasonable. I recommend it, and I'll go back.

Perfect harbor location for a Japanese restaurant. The food is always fresh, the rolls are varied with perfectly balanced flavors. Service is prompt and friendly.
The bento boxes offer wide variety for any palate, even for those who do not like raw fish. I have eaten there many times and I ALWAYS have a great meal.

This is a sit-down restaurant but we have always gotten take-out, this is our favorite Friday night dinner. Everything is beautifully prepared no matter if it's takeout or dine in.
