Ampersand carries higher end silver, china, serving pieces and table linens. They carry Kiehl's products which can be hard to find. They also carry paper plates, napkins, books, stationary, candles and other fun miscellaneous gifts. The staff is very helpful in finding the perfect gifts for occasions. Their clearance can be very good as well.

rude elderly sales clerks

The store has your typical, pricey, home accessories. However, I would not recommend visiting this store and I have no intentions on returning due to the rude customer service. While shopping, I was followed around the store by a snoopy, elderly sales clerk. At one point, I turned around and she was making "move along" motions with her hands! Poor Service, Expensive

I was in the store for almost 15 minutes before sales clerks even acknowledged that I was there, and even then I wasn't greeted. I was only greeted once I picked up an item to see the price... obviously they only bother to "help" you if they see you're interested in something. Even a "hello" would have been nice...The cards they have are cute, but I didn't like how the barcode was inside on...

Friendly sales associates, excellent health and beauty products

This is an excellent store with so many wonderful goodies, though a bit pricy. The part of the store that I frequent is called the apothecary and has makeup, hair, and skin products that are some of the best health and beauty products out there. They are one of only two stores (Nordstrom's being the other) in the Twin Cities that carries the Shu Uemura line. This is one of my favorite makeup...

My husband and I had part of our wedding registry at Ampersand, so we (and our family and friends) spent a good bit of money at their store. Nevertheless, the sales staff was rude each time we went in. I felt patronized and unimportant to the staff; they asked me questions with raised brows when I requested information about my registry instead of helping me with issues. A couple of times, they...

Ampersand is a cute little home decor and tableware shop located on the main level of Edina's upscale Galleria shopping center. This is a great gift shop, one that can enhance the atmosphere in your own home as well. Staff and service is friendly and knowledgeable.
