Amerigas totally screwed me. I purchased propane this past Oct and was put on a 4month pymnt plan. In Nov I sent 400 for Nov n DEC pymnts I'm disabled and this way I could have money for the holidays. In Nov I kept getting calls I was in default of my pymnt plan. I called every WK it seems and talked to a rep and was assured I was OK n to make my pymnt in Jan and again in Feb to keep my...

We were a customer of Amerigas. We switched to another supplier due to cost and poor service. The driver was rude and had an attitude. Left us with a feeling of what did I do wrong to upset him? When we called informing them of the switch, we expected within a week or so to see their tank removed and our deposit returned. It took almost 6 week for the tank to be removed, and after 8 years we have yet to get our deposit back. I tried addressing this with a mediator somewhat like a ""citizens court"" available at the time. Amerigas didn't show up nor were any calls returned.

My dealings with Amerigas have been great. The lady at the local office set me up over the phone. She took care of the gas left in the tank as well. When the driver came out to deliver he spent time explaining the companies services. He told me about the budget plan and encouraged me to go down to the local office and set that up which I did.
