Very clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The pool has extended adult swim times that was quite nice. The housekeeping service followed our daily instructions. This hotel is very nice place that makes you feel you are in the country.

Absolutely the best hotel in Republic Missouri, however it's the only hotel in Republic Missouri.
I must admit our second time staying at the American was not as smooth as the first, but still it met our needs.
It began with being given a double/smoking room when I had reserved a single/non-smoking room. The front desk person was nice but...

We had my mothers 90th birthday gathering at the hotel. We had family from all over the country stay at the hotel. It was clean and well kept. The staff was charming and available for all of our needs. Great location!

Can't think of one good word about the manager of the Republic Mo. hotel. Very rude and unaccommodating. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. She should be the manager. His attitude was we don't want to help and we don't need your business.

Kinda pricy

Stayed 2 nights. Not bad and was clean but staff was kinda rude and I thought it was kinda pricy for what you get. Had a jetted tub in the room and it was not great, jets were very weak as well as the hot tub.
