Help us make it rightThe room was smallish, the remote for the TV didn't work, but the room was warm even tho it snowed all night. Oh, it was a non-smoking room, but it sure smelled of something very cigarette-y. I would give a higher comfort rating if I hadn't smelled smoke all night.
Worst experience at a hotel, I've stayed at truckstops that were better. First understand it is close to a cow farm...I will let that information speak for itself. Secondly, the first room I was given was dirty. The do not disturb sign still on, bed not changed, lights on as if someone was still staying in it. I needed to catch the train in la junta and staying here overnight worked out great. The staff was friendly and ready to help and even drove me to the station.
We just needed an overnight stop and this was good. Lobby was nice, staff was helpful, rooms were very clean with good carpet and furnishings though definitely no frills. Bed was comfortable, A/C worked, free wi-fi that worked well, good TV. The outdoor pool area looked very nice, though we didn't take time to enjoy it.
