The American Movie Company is THE place for teleprompter rentals and the best green screen studio in NYC. I have used many such companies in New York and AMC is second to none.
Teleprompters are an invaluable tool for many reasons. They allow a presenter to look as if they have their lines memorized perfectly, help them get through challenging words, and are placed next to the camera to allow the actor or reporter to look directly at the camera, seemingly establishing a personal connection between the viewer and the person in front of the camera. This connection is crucial for anyone producing any form of recorded media, as it allows viewers to feel involved with the programming, thus drawing them in to the media being presented.
Green screens allow filmmakers to digitally place actors in any kind of world.
So, why choose AMC? First and foremost, AMC has the best technicians and teleprompter operators in the city. The technicians and teleprompter operators are well trained and always know exactly what they’re doing. It is evident that AMC only hires the best out there. When I first went to AMC to rent a teleprompter, and then to use their green screen studio, I had no idea what I was in for. I was promptly greeted at the door by one of the employees and really felt like I was a valued client, even before I had even been in the office for two minutes. In this day and age, it is hard to find a company with good customer service.
As the icing on the cake, Teleprompter-New York’s location cannot be beat. It is located in SoHo and is blocks from four subway stations.
Overall, I couldn’t recommend AMC enough. For me, customer service goes a long way. If you are looking for a teleprompter rental company or green screen studio to use for your next project, AMC is the place where you must go. Trust me, you will not regret it.

Great experience with The American Movie Company! Efficient crew, in a spacious studio where you can rest or work while the team is shooting. High quality of gear too, cameras shooting in 4K. I personally recommend this place.
Beautiful studio. The studio comes with a great grip and lighting package included in the rental price. Loading in is easy enough, the studio is on the ground floor so you can load in off the street. The staff's also very nice and are very helpful.
We used their Green Screen WebCasting Studio Tribeca for our webseries. We shot for two weeks in the studio for three weeks straight finishing three complete shows per day. We would stream one live every night and held the other two to stream at the end of production. We got picked up and owe a great deal of the success to the great team at American Movie Company.
I recently contacted the American Movie Company to partner with us to create content for a foreign film company. This involved WebCasting, and, of course, using teleprompters both in the studio and at various locations in Manhattan. This company has everything in one place! The Green Screen Stage right there made our work a pleasure. I recommend them to you!
