Extremely arrogant staff ruin your meal

My husband and I had gone there for lunch today with no intention of eating in, except my aloo paratha seemed to take forever to arrive. So, even though we had ordered a take-out, we sat there so at least my husband could start eating before the food got cold. While I was waiting, I started having a soup I had brought in and the supervisor walked upto me and said "No outside food allowed." There was no board or notice indicating that. I told him I didn't know about it and apologised to him. I also told him that I was waiting for my order to arrive. He again repeated rudely, "No outside food allowed" and left.

Then, we noticed that they were serving water to people in other tables. My husband asked the waiter for water. The waiter who went to get water was stopped by the supervisor who then asked my husband to go up to the counter and get it. And they gave only one glass for both of us.

I was baffled!! I can understand if, as a policy, you don't serve water at the table. But, clearly, that was not the case. Then why the step-motherly treatment?

It completely ruined our lunch and we left mid-way. I am thoroughly disappointed and I would never go back there again.

Indian restaurants are dime a dozen in NYC and the employees should know better than to take their customers for granted.

Awesome food- fresh, fast and delicious!

It's a new place that I visited with some friends. The chicken tikka masala and nan were amazing and so were the vegetables they gave on the side. It was fast, and the place was nice as well. Highly recommended for a fast and really good Indian lunch or dinner!

I feel this place is actually underrated on here. I go to this place about once a month. The Naan is wonderful. I also love their saag paneer. I also love that they have some traditional drinks...

I just ordered the lunch special. Paneer tikka masala and Chicken Malai tikka. The paneer (cottage cheese) was like rubber - so gross. They add food color to the sauce. It is not made with real...
