This place was very reasonably priced and had everything I needed. The owner and his wife were very friendly. (In fact, the day I checked out I left around 6:15 am and he came out to say goodbye and waved me off.)
It is an older hotel so much like the Velveteen Rabbit, it shows some wear and tear but...

clean,inexpensive motel

We were glad to find a place to stay on interstate 94 because once you pass through major cities, there are very few places to stay. Avon has just this motel. It was clean and typical for an inexpensive motel, especially since there is not much in this area.

We didn't arrive to the motel until 3:00 am. The owner was very helpful and made sure we made it to our room. The room was very basic but we just wanted to sleep for a few hours and then get up and finish our traveling. Is expensive for stop over like we had. We got up late and missed...

As soon as we checked into the motel, we went to get some ice out of the ice machine. The owner comes running around the corner to tell us not to fill up the bathtub with ice because then he will have to call the police and remove our stuff from the room and we wouldnt be able to stay...
