Almost did not return due to the rude attitude of manager. After two tedious phone calls to make a reservation, since he hung up on me, my friend had to call, finally got through and had to...

Cozy ambience; great menu; friendly staff

Good Northern italian and Sicilian cuisine, Full bar, good service, and casual elegance make this a great place to eat in E. midtown Manhattan. Nice ambiance; great place to take a date.

Good food excellent mozzella

A lovely neighborhood Italian restaurant serving good quality cuisine in a cozy environment. The staff was courteous and professional. Chris the owner was very hands on going around to the tables making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their food. He was even helping the staff serving the customers. I recommend Amata very highly!
