We were told we could not eat outside because we had a dog. She said they do not have a permit for that. In no state that I know of does one need a permit to have a dog on a public sidewalk....

I hosted a group of six for breakfast at Althea's last Sunday. The food was fine and our service was adequate. It states on their menu that the establishment will add an 18% gratuity to the bill for five or more. I thought this was an OK practice and have seen it in other places. So, when the bill came, I paid and we left. We were not even a few feet from the door when either the manager...

Great food, portions, atmosphere, and staff. The owner and his family even wait tables and hostess, so you can tell it's a real family place.

Nice place, nice sidewalk seating, nice atmosphere, good service, decent food. Friendly parrot. A little pricier then it should be for lunch.
