Out for a drive we came across The Alternative Baker in Rosendale, NY. We decided to stop in for a snack. It was a cute place with some mismatched tables and a counter for sitting. Shabby but friendly

Cookies compare unfavorably to store bought. Coffee tepid and weak from a dispenser. Cakes looked small and unattractive.
