Great choice and very good food

They always start with homemade bread which changes every night. Then a soup follows. There are always 3-4 salads to choose from and then there are 6 or main dishes. Always a meat one, a fish one, a pasta one, a vegan one.
Wine choices are very good too and reasonably priced.
Didn't eat dessert.

Very nice breakfast buffet, very good and reasonable lunch menu, dinners excellent and very nicely presented. View of mt. from dining room great. Service was good, staff very pleasant and helpful.

What a magical hotel. We only came in for lunch, but the staff were very friendly, stunning views out the windows (although we weren't seated right next to one), and the meals were absolutely amazing (including great GF options). Wish we'd been staying a week!

Good value on the slopes

The food is very tasty. A good range on the menu and good service. Not much more expensive than eating at the in mountain cafeterias. Great views of the mountain. Service has always been very good. Worth a visit whilst at Alta.

Ski trip eating doesn't have to be nasty or expensive

On the recommendation of our ski instructor we tried the restaurant at Rustler Lodge for lunch. The first pleasant surprise is you don't need to be a guest to eat there. The large dining room (which fills quickly) is about halfway between the Collins and Albion bases, and easily accessible from the slope side via a short chair lift.
