We have been visiting at the Black Hills since 1997. Alpine Inn is a must dining place at least twice while there. Everything is excellent, have never had a bad experience. We've tried other places in Hill City if the wait time was long, nothing compares to Alpine Inn.
Excellent restaurant. By far the best in Hill City. Can be a bit tough to get into around 6-7. So either eat a bit later or make sure to make a reservation. They don't offer their regular menu on Sundays.

Amazing steaks for dinner at really reasonable prices. If you can get there for lunch, the menu is wide and excellent, but we almost always plan at least one meal for dinner to enjoy the steaks. This place has amazing atmosphere.
