Dave and the Alpha Dog crew have been taking care of Sancho since we moved to Portland in March of this year. From the very beginning, it was evident that these folks care about both their customers-those with four legs and those with two!. Our dog Sancho get so excited when we turn the corner to their facility because he knows he is going to have a great time. We have boarded him there nearly a dozen times so far and they have taken exceptional care of him--making sure he gets the medicine he needs each day. Approximately two years ago I adopted an energetic and admittedly untamed puppy. I was at my wit's end with her and realized I needed help (and a break)!! I chose Alpha Dog based on its excellent location and brought Lucy in for her initial evaluation which went very well: she was happy, exhausted and fell asleep as soon she was in the car. It was a win win for both of us.

Great place for play

My dog has been going to Alpha Dog for 8 months and loves every minute. I open the door of my car and she literally yanks me into the daycare. The staff have been great. They know how to keep things fun and safe for the dogs. I go twice a week, because if I didn't take my dog any more he'd be totally bummed out. If you want your dog to get some good play time, this place is perfect.

Great Dog Daycare

I've been taking my dog to Alpha Dog Daycare for over a year now. We actually had been bringing him to another doggie daycare in SE but I noticed that when my dog got home he seemed to have more energy then when he left in the morning. If they were really playing with him that
shouldn't be.

My dog is a Yellow Lab, & when he was alone while I was at work he'd start getting destructive around the house. That is why we tried daycare in the first place. It wasn't until we brought him to Alpha Dog that he'd come home tired & happy, & the destoying of our furniture ceased....
