We ate the most delicious dinner at Alounak Grill. We had delicious hummus and crispy falafel to start. I had the beef stew and my husband ordered the lamb shank. Both dishes were outstanding and we will definitely be back in the next few days.
Best Persian food in town. Hole in the wall. Great prices. Friendly staff. You must try the lamb shanks and the chicken barg!
...koobideh = dry, not a little but a lot ... lamb kbob = boring, ...so boring ... chickin bob = dry & boring, oh so boring ... ...rice: flavor = 0 , color...
I have tried "kalleh-pacheh" (lamb tongue, legs and ...) in several restaurants of California and Texas. I would like to give the 1st rank to this restaurant. It was cooked to perfection. It was very clean and tasty. It reminded me of kalleh-pachehs in Iran! They served it with fresh lime, fresh bread, and home-made torshi (pickled vegetables).
