We switched to this company after a friend told us about them being so much cheaper. WELL cheaper they are and the saying goes you get what you pay for... Out of the entire month they have picked my trash up 1 time, and that was only after contacting them about not picking it up. We switched to Alley Cat for our trash service about 7 months ago. We switched because their cost was so much lower. But, they have raised their cost and added a fuel surcharge in that time. The cost (unless you are over 60 years old and qualify for the senior rate) is the same as Harford Sanitation now. What has bothered me the most is that since we switched to Alley Cat, we've gotten a letter each quarter chastising us.
