I ordered a canopy here and was extremely disappointed with how I was treated. The canopy was installed correctly, but I paid for a third brake and it wasn't installed at all. I was refunded my money for the light and given one to install myself but later I changed my others brake lights and found that they wired the third light and everything, they just failed to simply mount it. I went in today to get the lid fixed under warranty and it seemed the salesman who sold it to me recognized me and wasn't happy I was there, because he seemed very cold, rushed the repair, and tried walking away immediately after. I was curious about the light so I was asking some questions about why they wired it but didn't mount it, where they would mount it, and if they would do it for me, but all I got was "You talked to my manager, it'll be $90 for two hours of work." I kept asking questions, but he resulted in just interrupting me with the same answer. I might have actually paid for them to install it if it weren't for $90 which is b@!%!**t, especially when they already did most of the work. Plus, being interrupted when I was just being a curious customer was unheard of. I spent $1800 on the canopy, so I expect to the treated like I did. I shouldn't have to pay $90 for "two hours of work" especially after spending that much.
Bought a new Snugtop canopy for my pickup 3 years ago from All American Truck & SUV Accessories, PDX, OR. I am disappointed not only in this Snugtop product, but also with the installation and customer service. While driving to the shop (again) today I remembered having to go back to the shop at least six times since I bought this product: 2 X's for improperly installed rear window (wouldn't lock/close/latch properly because of cables something or other), 2 X's for the razorblade screw heads they left exposed on the inside ceiling from the roof rack they installed (found out the hard way by shredding some expensive rafting gear, I ended up grinding them down properly so ya didn't open up your head, equipment, etc.), 1 X for broken window latch (snapped off in my hand with normal use, window won't lock without this flimsy plastic latch), 1 or 2 X's for window railings popping out, 1 X for the leaking canopy. I was surprised when they reminded me that I had only owned this canopy 3 years, seemed like 5+ considering all the issues I've had. I went to the shop today to run a leak test to find out where the canopy is leaking rainwater, I slept in the back of my truck couple weeks ago so the pouring from the canopy drivers side window was pretty obvious. They also found a leak in the right window as well; $100 to replace both the seals around the windows. They were hellbent on convincing me that all canopy windows leak over time, which I'm sure is eventually true. But on a product that is only 3 years old? Thats ridiculous, we all own modern vehicles that have windows with seals that don't leak thru the lifetime of the auto, there are plenty of people that have truck canopies, RV's, etc. that don't leak, and they were basically convincing me that the new seals would also likely leak probably again in a relatively short time. Mankind has invented seals that don't leak, they do exist!!! I emphasize this because it may not actually be known at Snugtop. How can you stand behind such an inadequate product knowing that the customers bed of the truck is likely to be a slosh pit within a couple years? Snugtop obviously chooses not to engineer a product using the proper quality materials. I'm an outdoor adventurer that expects my equipment to function properly, even willing to throw money at something to make sure that it does work properly. I decided to keep my $100, and my leaky canopy for the time being, and because I am a reasonable and decent person I'm gonna have to cut ties with this shop and its products. Although I am connected to a large personal community, this is my first internet review I have ever filled out for a product. I intended to keep it as objective as possible, but this product has been a personal waste of my time and energy. Until Snugtop corrects these issues I have with this product I will continue to strongly recommend against purchasing an inferior product such as my Snugtop canopy. Poor value and quality. Very disappointing product!

I bought a Leer 180 from the SE Portland shop, and since my color and size was in stock in Eugene, decided to take a trip down there to have it installed. All of my dealings with these folks, from the purchase in Portland through the installation in Eugene was terrific. The Eugene shop even let my 4 month old lab puppy wait with me in their waiting room. They were ready for me when I got there, and did the installation in an hour. It's hard to find good reviews on truck cap dealers/installers, so I wanted to add my $.02 worth. Can't say enough good things about these people.
These people are without a doubt the worst liars and thieves in the market today, and it's a wonder they can survive on such an absence of integrity. They completely screwed up my order for a simple canopy, … These people are without a doubt the worst liars and thieves in the market today, and it's a wonder they can survive on such an absence of integrity. I went in here to get pricing on a truck canopy for my husband's truck (as a surpirse birthday gift). The hillbillies that work there ignored me and another woman that was also in the store for a good 15 minutes before I had to walk up to them and stare until they offered to help me. Then they sent their biggest hillbilly worker, Jerry, over to assist. Let's just say Jerry was either a biggot or had something against women. Either way, I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life by a salesperson. He was extremely condesending, talked rudely when I asked any questions and raised...
Run away from this one! I just purchased a $650 dollar Kargorack from these people which wasnt installed straight by there inept installers. When I asked about it I was told that it wasnt the Kargorack, that my Van must be bent! It was obvious that there just needed to be a slight adjustment, and that is all I wanted. After asking the installer to adjust it three times and having cigarette smoke blown in my face, he went to get his manager. The manager, Allen, came out and said, "" looks striaght to me""! when it was most definately not. He said, "" Your van must be bent, but if you want me...
