I went to Alexander's for the first time yesterday. Had so much fun I didn't want to leave! The proprietors were great - fun to talk to and very helpful. If you are looking for unique, this is the place. Their offerings are completely different from the other (very few) bead shops in Seattle and I like them too. Beautiful gemstone bead offerings and lots of great bargains.

Large selection of medium-to-low grade gemstones, really good selection of super cheap tiny freshwater pearls but beware the super unfriendly owner! She's so unhelpful and acts annoyed if you interrupt her incessant talking to her employee with a question about beads. Those horrible reviews on Yelp are true! Fusion Beads: here I happily come!
