March 6, 2017, I had a L4,5 laminectomy that Dr. Alberstone performed at Saint Johns Regional Medical Center.

The persistent lower back pain and numbness down the buttocks to the knees were completely gone the first day after surgery. Dr. Alberstone is a knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate physician, to whom I will always be very grateful.

I was scared to death and the doctors no nonsense, straight forward approach, was very reassuring and he performed beyond my expectations. I've only had one experience in having surgery and I hope I never will have to again. This experience was as good as a traumatic event could be.
