I just got off the phone with Alaska's customer relations office. They are telling me the flight attendants deny the charges (duh! who would admit to treating a customer like that!). I assured them that I was positive of what happened (after I was accused of lying) and they told me there was nothing else they can do about it. Mind you this was after being on hold for 10 minutes long distance....
I'm really not that calm, but I didn't want to sound belligerant on here. I have every intention of contacting them again. I sent a "happy" email to them and will call them on Monday (long distance, of course). I was unbelievably insulted by that little voucher. Thank you for your support.
I'm not sure how you are so calm - I am upset and I don't even know you!! I would definetly contact Alaska Air again and complain again. Just tell them that a $50 voucher does not even begin to compensate you for the insulting way you were treated.
