When this exclusive lingerie shop opened in 1977, no one thought it would make it in such a conservative town. It's still here and now also stocks beautiful sleepwear and swimsuits. It has become known for its bra-fitting service, especially for bigger cup sizes. There's a second location at 453 West Coleman Boulevard in Mt. Pleasant.

In 1976 a lingerie boutique opened its doors on Vendue Range in Charleston, SC. The boutique prospered and it was not long before Bits of Lace relocated to the world famous fashion district in downtown Charleston. Ownership changed hands, the client base grew, and the store's success warranted yet another move to the current location.
