I'm allergic to cheese, including feta. I asked for a Greek salad without feta, explaining about my allergy. I was served a Greek salad that had more than a few bits of feta, and politely sent it back. A few minutes later, the server brought out another plate of salad, assuring me that it had just been made freshly, and had no feta. One guess what I found in the salad. Yes, feta.

My husband and had dinner recently at tasos and had eaten there once before. Both times we have had great food and have felt that it was really authentic. What we particularly enjoyed was that the peasant salad we each ordered was the kind of salad you get in Greece. No lettuce-- just large pieces of cucumber tomato and pepper...
