Dr. Maunus may be an excellent doctor. I'll never know. The woman I spoke with about scheduling an appointment was very rude. I explained I've been having difficulty for 6 weeks and when told it was a several week wait for an appointment, I asked if there might be others in his group. She started laughing! She said the nearest associate was 30 minutes away... which I would have accepted, but...

Dr. Weingarten is reasonable, but his staff is rude and unhelpful. I was scolded for not scheduling the surgery at the time of the consultation (I needed to schedule time off) and told I'd have to drive an hour each way to fill out paperwork. I asked "Can you mail it?" "No" No explanation, no flexibility - "our way or no way." Also, be prepared to pay a fee to schedule your surgery. This...

Dr Weingarten did a topaz procedure with a slight tenotomy to both Achilles last year. My right one is almost normal and my left was probably 50% better. Did the left one again this year to hopefully get the left to 100% again. I have been to 2 other foot doctors and can definitely recommend Dr. Weingarten
