They were unable to balance our account so they made up numbers every month to make it look balanced. We only saw this after 5 years of believing that they knew what they were doing. We had an external bookkeeper look at their data to find out that our books were off by tens of thousands of dollars each month which means our taxes are wrong for the past 5 years!!They acknowledged that they made up numbers, but refused to correct the books. They actually told us that it was ok to make up numbers to "push" the account. Other reputable bookkeepers have said that should never be done.
