I've been to both this Acoustic in Menomonie and the one down in Winona, MN. They serve great heated hoagies and excellent soups! The only thing that keeps me from going there more often is the non-existent parking situation.
I have been stopping in here for many years when in Menomonie, so I thought I might as well finally write a review. We were just here last weekend (5-17-2015) prior to hiking the nearby Red Cedar Trail. The sandwiches here are wholesome and great tasting, as are the coffee selections. I revisited Acoustc recently since they started serving "very" fresh salads with outstanding homemade dressing. Great, healthy, fresh veggies in a perfect serving size. Good quality and fair prices.
They have a decent amount of options for your sandwiches, wraps and pittas and a few local beers and two soup options. It has a nice atmosphere but the service and service staff could be better. They have some good Italian soda options too but it's your average sand which shop with nothing too special about it.
My husband and I visited this cafe years ago when our kids were little and we loved it. Now our son is at Stout and we were excited to get to revisit this quaint restaurant. We were not disappointed. Our whole family could not get over the delicious sandwiches, cheese beer soup and Sprecher's root beer. We are so excited...
