The staff is knowledgeable and cool, the collection is really eccentric (kung fu, noir, new wave) and extremely user friendly (organized by real genres and directors).

Acme has a wonderful selection of all kinds of films, from Hollywood to avant-garde, from Chaplin to 21st century, and from all over the globe. The staff are all incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and can always give you great recommendations. A gem of a shop.

Acme offers a good selection of rare, foreign, and independent films. In addition, there are locally produced and distributed films available, as well as plenty of current blockbusters to fill up a rainy Saturday afternoon.
