I took my laptop to ACE to have the connector for the power supply replace. They didn't have the part in stock so I had them next day the part from the manufacture. When they were done with it I picked it up and drove to my office, I tried to power up the laptop and found that it still would not charge. I called them to let them know and left early that day so I could catch them before they...

Dishonest practices YP.com

These guys did repairs to my computer w/out my authorization. My calls to find out what repairs were needed and to get a total on the job were never returned, even after I specifically asked to be called BEFORE anything was done. I finally got a total when I called AGAIN after it was done. I should have checked BBB site before hand.. they have a complaint against them, and I filed one also....

This guy will rip you off! I paid to have them fix the same problem twice in one year, and ended up having to take the computer to a competent tech elsewhere and pay again. The computer works great now!
Don't make the same mistake I did. Use someone else. This guy has no HONOR!

Unfair trade practice YP.com

I have used Advanced Computer Expertised ( ACE ) in Conroe Texas on several accasions and had been moderately satisfied. I have always been annoyed by the lack of communication that streams from there office to their customers, but we just pick up the phone rather than wait on them to call. My biggist problem occurred earlier this year. I had used them to re-solder the power supply connector...
