In the space left vacant after the departure of Abu’s, Jow Nai Fouquet fits right in along this diverse stretch of Farwell Avenue (Turkish, Thai, Indian, Ethiopian, Chinese, Italian… take your pick)! The interior is nicely done, although the seats could be better… you have your choice of flimsy plastic chairs or rolling, upholstered arm chairs. The service… well, we shouldn’t have bothered...
Whatever ambience this small but comfy restaurant lacks, is completey overshadowed by the wonderful food which is prepared here with family care. The Baba Ganouj is the best I've ever had - with just a touch of smokey flavor. The Rosewater Lemonade is not to be missed - that usual tartness is softened by the essence of rose petals. In a hurry?
