The Scene
The building's cheery, yellow exterior welcomes customers. High ceilings, plus concrete stained floors and a light-filled bar create airiness. Nice touches include bronzed...

Waitress attitude terrible

What a shame, Bobby the manager, who has known me since the high school I attended has a great restaurant, nice atmosphere, and good food, but has a waitress with a TERRIBLE rude, obnoxious, stuck up, know it all, attitude who needs professional help or find a different job. My wife and I weren't very hungry so we got the...

The food here is not bad. It is cheesy and eatable but not really special. It's type can be found all over Texas.

Went here for a happy hour and dinner with colleagues and client. Not busy at all on a Monday night and the food and drinks were tasty. Had the grilled chicken salad with Honey Lime dressing. Worth it for a good bite to eat!

Good, quick TexMex

I love Abuelo's for a quick lunch or dinner when I'm really craving a little TexMex. The salsa trio and papas are so good, and the fish tacos are a great go-to! Plus their margaritas are great!

The service is really good; the servers are usually really busy, but they take the time to make sure you're satisfied. Food is great. Everything I've eaten here has been really good. As in, I eat until I can't move, then wish I...

Families flock to these "cheery" chain "haciendas" for "hearty" plates of "decent" south-of-the-border fare and a lengthy list of libations; yes, they're well priced and "reliable", but in a state "where good Tex-Mex food abounds on every corner", diehards declare "you can do better."
